Why innovation?

The United Nations has highlighted a substantial annual financing gap that poses a significant challenge to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. This shortfall has been estimated at approximately $2.5 trillion to $4.2 trillion per year, particularly impacting developing countries.
For instance, the Joint SDG Fund reports a financing gap of $4.2 trillion annually in these regions. Similarly, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) emphasizes that over $4 trillion is required annually to bridge this gap, noting that this amount represents only 1% of global wealth, yet remains inadequately directed towards critical sustainable development areas. Addressing this deficit is essential for advancing global development and meeting the
2030 Agenda.
