Daniel Simwaba is the Co-Founder and CEO of Zambezi Capital, a visionary investment and advisory firm delivering purposeful and innovative advisory solutions to organisations, driving sustainability in Africa. With a cross-disciplinary background in financial markets, fintech, ESG, and public policy, Daniel has worked across both the public and private sectors to drive inclusive finance, digital transformation, and sustainable innovation. His leadership spans diverse sectors—including energy, mining, financial services, and emerging technologies—engaging stakeholders across Zambia, Norway, and beyond. Daniel serves as Secretary of Zambia’s Capital Markets Master Plan Action Team 5 for Product Development, and is an active member of the Government Blockchain Association (GBA), where he leads a working group exploring the intersection of blockchain, AI, and sustainable development. He is also a supporter of the Zambezi Woman Catalyst initiative, aimed at accelerating gender inclusion in frontier industries. As a participating entrepreneur and inner circle member of Impact Capital Africa (ICA) 2024, Daniel continues to position Zambezi Capital as a catalyst for transformative partnerships. Under his leadership, Zambezi Capital aims to create a world where stakeholders can achieve both individual and shared aspirations—offering research, strategy, and capital solutions that advance Africa’s innovation and sustainability agenda.
